HUMBLE PIE

Sure is hard to be so modest, Took you a while to find it out, We're not out to please just anybody, Do I have to shout it out

Coz we don't want to, Be just like you, We don't event want to…….Try

So how  does  it feel to be so proud? Never had the chance to be just yet

With your head in the clouds, oh so high! Hope you get run over by a jet

Coz we don't want to, Think just like you, We don't event want to……Try

Sure is hard to be so honest, They all try to put you down, When it gets too hard just fake a smile and take a bow, Sure looks better than a frown

Coz we don't want to, Feel like you do, We don't event want to……Try

Hustle and a bustle

With your feet all a shuffle

In a place where there's always room for play

Where I try to see and I try to feel

What's in front of me and I feel the animosity

And to myself I lie

Why was I hung out to dry

As your egos fly into the sky

I'll just take a seat and piece of humble pie
